OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

Progression Route to MBA
Completion of the OTHM Level 7 Diploma (120 Credits) is a mandatory prerequisite for entry into the Advanced Entry Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
Upon successfully graduating from Level 7, students gain direct entry to complete an MBA (Top-up) degree awarded directly by UK Universities. At the Top-up stage, students only need to submit a Master’s Dissertation, making it the most efficient and direct pathway to earning a prestigious UK Master’s Degree.
Master of Business Administration (Advanced Entry - UK & Europe)
Master’s Degree (MBA Top-Up) Advanced Entry Requirements & Guidelines:
Students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree through the Advanced Entry route must have successfully completed a Level 7 Diploma (Postgraduate Diploma).

Master’s Degree (MBA Top-Up) Advanced Entry Requirements & Guidelines:
Students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree through the Advanced Entry route must have successfully completed a Level 7 Diploma (Postgraduate Diploma). Because Advanced Entry gives you credit exemptions for coursework, all participating universities require students to complete and pass a final Dissertation or Research Project to be awarded the Master’s degree.
Entry Requirement:
- Must hold a recognized OTHM Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma to qualify for direct entry onto the Top-Up stage.
Steps & Requirements:
- Apply for Credit Exemption / Advanced Standing through partner institutional channels.
- Submit official Level 7 transcripts and degree certificates.
- Write and successfully defend a final Dissertation / Major Research Project.
- Provide proof of English language proficiency (e.g., Medium of Instruction letter or equivalent test score).
Entry Requirement:
- Must have completed OTHM Level 7 Diploma (or equivalent Postgraduate Diploma).
Steps & Requirements:
- Submit your official Level 7 Diploma Certificate and complete Academic Transcripts.
- Complete and submit an Applied Project or Dissertation as required by SSBR’s degree completion track.
- Include a professional CV or work reference letters if you have managerial experience.
Entry Requirements & Process:
- Students can use their Level 7 Diploma to apply for Master’s/MBA Top-Up programs at various other UK universities.
- Regardless of the university chosen, completing a Dissertation or Research Project is a standard mandatory requirement across all institutions for Advanced Entry degree completion.
- Admission guidelines, credit transfer approvals, and required documentation must follow the specific application procedures of each respective university.
